The Product Design and Development

3. Product design and engineering with emphasis on aesthetics

Sanicro product definition starts with the outline of many product concepts. It follows a selection of several solutions leading to the definition of the one corresponding closest to initial specifications and to the market acceptability,. This process is handled by Sanicro in collaboration with the "Giampietro Tonetti Design" company, a highly regarded Italian Design Group specializing in Home Interior products and Consumer acceptance studies,  closely associated with Sanicro.

4. Computer Aided Design

The selected product concept is analysed and created with a CAD software. This allows Sanicro to monitor product behaviours, motions, dimensions, materials and weight ,etc, while the product and parts are still in the development stage.

5. Computer Aided Engineering

Sanicro owns directly a Computer Aided Engineering enterprise (Flowservice) which supplies services on:

1. Mould Flow simulation: plastic and metal injection is simulated to prevent and forecast manufacturing problems and critical issues before the final manufacturing design.

2. Rapid Prototyping: product parts are printed in a 3-dimensional  version with a polyject machine in order to test prototypes, prevent mistakes, optimise manufacturing and to design in advance the assembly procedure, the packaging and many other correlated issues.

3. Optimization: Computer Aided Support can lead optimisation procedures in which product critical dimensions, weights, costly processes are minimized/maximized by mathematical linear and non linear optimisation.

6. Computer Aided Manufacturing

CAD technology is highly coupled with the manufacturing design. From the mathematical software representation of the product, CAM software produces the NC program to manufacture the  tools and equipment for the production.

7. Quality Assurance Programs and Control Standards set to meet European, UK, and USA requirements

Quality issues rise up along the previous steps defining the critical issues to guarantee a high quality production. Rapid prototyping and mould flow simulation concur in outlining those issues. Implementing UNI ISO 9001:2000 standards, plastic and metal parts are manufactured and assembled constantly, being monitored by the computer aided process capability control.
